For those of you who know Garrett, you know he had gone an obscenely long time without a shave or haircut, for those of you who don't know Garrett he is the man who makes the art scene happen at Cal Surf and pretty much runs that blog and is quite the artist himself. Garrett recently underwent a transformation and our good friend Joe shared this with us. Summer is a time for haircuts.

Miles @ High Point Tonight!
Friend of 1817 Miles Mendenhal is closing one years worth of work from his Jerome Fellowship at High Point Center for Printmaking with a show...tonight. If you are in Minneapolis you wont want to miss this. The three fellowship winners are all amazing artists and have been working for a year at the best print center in the city, there will be some cool stuff to look at.

Cal Surf Interview
Here is the local Minneapolis skate shop, Cal Surf. Owner Scott Oreschnick bought out this building in 88' and they have been standing strong for just over 22 years.
